Statement

I am Ahnìon.
My formal name is Johan David Ingemar Andersson. I am twenty-nine years old. I am a failure in many ways, and a walking problem in others. I am, however, a success in that I have remained my own intellectual and emotional individual, choosing my involvment in what society brings and remaining vigilant in not just being what is expected of me.

I am roughly diagnosed with Generalising Social Anxiety Disorder of a depth and level that seems to be more or less chronic. Through therapy, I have gotten better over the years, but I cannot see myself working as a "normal human being" in any perceivable future, and my therapist agrees.


Over the years, since 1995, my personal website has gone through many forms, many of which were deep-threaded and complex. However, as it has turned out, the purpose I now see in having such a site is very simple - a place to display whatever I create, be that journal entries, sociopolitical rants, novellas, poems, music or imagery.

I am a volatile and frankly emotional person. My output reflects this and I do not hold back for the comfort of narrower minds. If you have a problem with this, you can piss the fuck off.

For the record, I do not think that children should be sheltered from explicit material. The world is a fucked-up place and kids get fucked up from living in it however you try to shelter them. If they were exposed to the world of honest output, more people might grow up with some kind of hope and sincerity sustained.


The site runs bBlog with a custom template design. It has been tested and confirmed working in Firefox 2.0.0.2, IE 6.0.2900.2180 and Opera 9.10. It should correspond to W3C standards.
